Winter Skills Day in Glen Coe

Absolutely awesome winter hill walking experience with Ocean Vertical, easy to plan and well organised with great advice and communication before the trip , guides Stevie and Mollie are so down to earth and full of knowledge and experience we instantly felt in safe hands, the weather was against us with high winds, cloud and constant rain forecast despite this they still managed to pull off a great winter day in the Glen Coe mountains.

We learned new skills with ice axes and cramp ons and it was great fun practicing self arrest with the ice axes, Stevie and Mollie were constantly assessing conditions and checking in on each of us, as wind speeds dropped a little we were able to reach the top of Meall a’ Bhuiridh which was a great feeling. Will definitely be booking another ocean vertical adventure for the near futureMichael
